Odd-shaped yards
Soccer Pitches for Odd-Shaped Yards
Most yards aren’t perfect rectangles. We build pitches for trapezoid lots, angled property lines, L-shaped yards and endlines of different lengths.
Trapezoids
Angled fences
L-shaped yards
Serving LA, OC, Inland Empire and San Diego
Shapes we build
Trapezoid yards
Wide by the house, narrow at the back fence. Endlines can be different lengths and it still plays like a real pitch.
Angled property lines
One end or side follows a slanted fence. The angled wall becomes another rebound surface.
L-shaped and wraparound
Main pitch in the backyard, with a narrow training lane down the side yard.
Driveway strips
Long, narrow lanes built for 1v1, dribbling and passing.
How we lay out an odd-shaped pitch
Send us rough measurements and a few photos. We look for the longest usable length first, then fit the width and the walls to your property line.
Goals get centered on each endline, even when the ends are different lengths. Walls follow the edges, so every ball stays in and every angle becomes part of the game.
Odd-shaped yards
Your yard isn’t a rectangle. Your pitch doesn’t have to be.
Most yards aren’t perfect squares. We lay out turf, walls and lines to fit the space you actually have, from narrow driveways to tapered lots and angled property lines.

Angled property line

FAQ
Common questions
My yard isn’t a rectangle. Can you still build a pitch?
Yes. We fit the turf, walls and lines to your space, including trapezoid lots, angled property lines and L-shaped yards.
What if my endlines are different lengths?
That’s fine. A trapezoid pitch plays well as long as each goal is centered on its endline.
Can you build on a sloped yard?
Usually, yes, with grading. We’ll look at the slope and drainage and include what’s needed in your quote.
